iSUN3D Launches FDM + DLP Flexible Manufacturing Solutions at Formnext Shenzhen 2026

Post time:Aug-27-2026

On August 26, Formnext Shenzhen 2026 officially opened. On the first day of the show, iSUN3D introduced two new 3D printing systems—delivering a flexible and elastomeric manufacturing solution based on both DLP and FDM technologies.

Designed for different production needs, the new portfolio supports applications ranging from personalized customization and rapid prototyping to stable, scalable production.

1. LUXT 380 DLP 3D Printer

For flexible product manufacturing, efficiency, precision, and batch consistency remain key challenges.

The iSUN3D LUXT 380 DLP 3D printer is designed to address these challenges with a large build area, high printing speed, and stable industrial performance.

Large build area. More production per build.

With an industrial build volume of 384 × 240 × 400 mm, LUXT 380 can print two shoes in a single build, significantly increasing production capacity per cycle.

High-speed printing. Shorter lead times.

With a printing speed of 100–150 mm/h, LUXT 380 enables rapid production and can significantly shorten prototyping and delivery cycles.

Cloud-based manufacturing and easy release

The proprietary honeycomb build platform helps reduce release forces and addresses challenges associated with large-format DLP printing.

The printer can also connect directly to a cloud-based production system for automated job scheduling and unattended operation, helping create a more streamlined digital workflow from material preparation to printing.

Built for stability

LUXT 380 combines high-precision motion components, a marble base, and a heavy-duty machine structure to improve overall rigidity and operating stability.

Multi-sensor monitoring and uniform light control further enhance stability and batch-to-batch consistency, especially during full-build printing.

As part of the iSUN3D DLP flexible 3D printing ecosystem, LUXT 380 works with the single-component FlexOne flexible resin series and professional post-processing equipment.

Together, these solutions enable the production of complex lattice structures for applications including:

l  Orthotics & rehabilitation

l  Customized products

l  Smart wearables

l  Flexible components

l  Humanoid robotics

2. NEXT Series FDM 3D Printer

The iSUN3D NEXT Series introduces a dual-material strategy combining flexible materials and high-performance engineering materials.

One platform can support applications ranging from high-rebound flexible parts to high-strength, high-rigidity components, expanding the potential of FDM 3D printing for industrial applications.

Large-format printing for different production needs

The NEXT Series offers a maximum build volume of 520 × 520 × 1200 mm, allowing large components to be printed as a single piece without splitting or assembly.

It is also suitable for small-batch, multi-product, and customized manufacturing.

High-speed printing. Faster production.

With printing speeds of up to 500 mm/s, the system combines near-field extrusion, a high-flow hot end, and optimized motion algorithms to improve printing efficiency while maintaining high-quality results.

This enables a faster transition from R&D prototyping to finished parts.

Industrial architecture for reliable production

The NEXT Series features a four-wheel-drive, dual-belt CoreXY motion system, precision linear rails, an independently developed motion control system, and multi-sensor monitoring.

Together, these systems provide closed-loop control of motion, temperature, and machine status to support stable, continuous printing.

The platform also supports LAN and cloud management, batch job distribution, and intelligent production scheduling, allowing multiple printers to work together as a connected manufacturing network.

Dual-material compatibility

Flexible materials

The NEXT Series is designed to work with flexible materials including TPU, TPE, and PEBA.

With dedicated near-field extrusion, precise temperature control, and flexible-material printing algorithms, the system helps produce parts with:

l  High rebound

l  Excellent flex resistance

l  Fatigue resistance

l  Improved layer bonding

These capabilities address common challenges in flexible FDM printing, including delamination, cracking, and insufficient rebound.

High-performance engineering materials

For high-temperature applications, the NEXT Series supports industrial materials such as nylon and carbon-fiber-reinforced materials.

The resulting parts offer high strength, rigidity, wear resistance, heat resistance, and dimensional stability, making them suitable for applications that traditionally rely on machining, sheet metal fabrication, or injection molding.

This can help reduce the overall cost of R&D prototyping and small-batch production.

Building the Next Generation of Flexible Manufacturing

The launch of these two new systems further expands iSUN3D’s technology portfolio in flexible 3D printing.

From customized products and rapid prototyping to small-batch and industrial production, iSUN3D is integrating equipment, materials, processes, and digital production management to move flexible 3D printing beyond one-off manufacturing.

The goal is simple:

More flexible. More efficient. More scalable.

Formnext Shenzhen runs through August 28.
